artsedge 10th anniversary conference

What a fantastic day!

WAAPA was really buzzing on Thursday 10th July for the ArtsEdge 10th Anniversary Conference and Celebration... from our first earlybird registrations at just before 8am until we waved goodbye to the last of those celebrating at just before 7pm it was go go GO!

An enormous thank you must go to the incredible team at WAAPA - not only for the fabulous venue... but for the wonderful staff and students who made the day so easy for us!

A huge thank you to our guest speakers - we were delighted to have such great response to Paul Haywood (University of Salford UK), Barry Kelly (returning from Berklee College USA) and Dr David Sudmalis (Australia Council for the Arts) and it was amazing to see how they were in such demand during the breaks in the day - they have all asked that their thanks be passed on for a day that was absolutely out of their expectations and for the warmth and hospitality that they received while they were here.

An absolute highlight of the day was the many workshops, performances and activities presented by some of the finest Western Australian arts and cultural organisations... the outcomes of a number of these workshops graced the Registration Desk for all to see - and we heard lots of plans for ongoing partnerships being developed.
